According to the Greens and the SPD, if the state government makes its announcement in the coming month and allows the opening of clubs, bars and discotheques again, this would also offer an opportunity to offer a wide audience a low-threshold vaccination offer. The city council groups therefore request the health department to approach the operators in good time in order to organize a vaccination offer together with them and the specialist unit “Moderation of the night”, which is also accepted by young guests.
According to the application, fully immunized guests are particularly important in club operations in order to prevent the spread of Covid infections in nightlife.
"After 20 months of corona-related closure, clubs, bars and music venues are of course eagerly awaiting to be able to reopen their businesses, if possible with full capacity," says Green City Councilor David Süß.
For reasons of infection protection, this will probably only be possible with a large number of vaccinated guests.
The clubs would therefore have a great interest in preventing infections during operation and will support vaccination concepts with creative ideas.
"In this way it can be possible to reach undecided guests with a vaccination offer on site."
Klaus Peter Rupp (SPD) said the vaccination quota in Munich had to be increased significantly.
“We mainly rely on low-threshold offers.
Our mobile vaccination teams go to schools, to the Oktoberfest pub, to shopping centers or to sporting events. ”When the clubs open in October, they should also work there.
"This is the easiest way for us to reach young people."
