Severe storms left one dead on the Italian Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
A man died when he was carried away by water.
The senior had got stuck in his car in Sant'Anna Arresi in the south in the morning, got out and was hit by the water of a brook that had overflowed the bank, said the fire department.
The helpers then looked for the man with several emergency services and found his body a little later.
According to a local media report, he was 81 years old.
More severe weather forecast
Further east, near the parish of Villa San Pietro, a swollen river trapped four hunters.
In the evening, the emergency services tried to bring those affected to safety.
Nearby, the Vigili del Fuoco used rescue helicopters to rescue several people who had taken a tree to safety from the floods.
The civil defense had predicted severe storms in Sardinia for Sunday and again declared the second highest warning level for Monday in the south of the island.
In total, the emergency services moved out around 50 times because of the flash flood and, among other things, freed people who were stuck at home because of the flooding.
