Thursday in Poissy, Emmanuel Macron put on crampons with the Variétés Club de France to play a charity football match against a selection of nursing staff from the Poissy / Saint-Germain-en-Laye hospital center.
In front of 2,000 spectators at the Léo-Lagrange stadium, the President of the Republic played 75 minutes and scored a goal from the penalty spot.
His team, made up of many former glories of the round ball (Christian Karembeu, Robert Pirès, Marcel Desailly, Alain Giresse, Dominique Rocheteau…) easily won (6-1).

After the meeting, all the players in this match, which raised 50,000 euros for the Kabul Medical Institute for Mother and Child, gathered at the Elysee Palace for a dinner.
