Images of L1 matches, broadcast unencrypted on Sunday morning on the Téléfoot program, will now be possible.
TF1 has just concluded with the main broadcaster of the L1, Amazon Prime Video, an agreement - validated by the LFP (Professional Football League) -, to be able to show extracts from the matches of Friday and Saturday, as well as from previous days.
A first for 14 years.
"This will allow us to strengthen our editorial offer"
"This is great news for TF1 but especially for French viewers who will finally be able to have access to the hot images of the matches on Friday and Saturday," rejoices Julien Millereux, sports director of the TF1 group.
This also enhances the Amazon product which will thus find itself much more exposed with unencrypted broadcasting.
For us, this will allow us to strengthen our editorial offer.
We will have an additional dimension of topicality and we will be able to complete our magazine or portrait subjects with images of goals and actions.
It will start on Sunday with the presentation of the Clasico between OM and PSG.
"
According to our information, the agreement between TF1 and Amazon would relate to a sum well below 1 M €.
