The English Football Association (FA) has to pay a fine of 100,000 euros for the riots before the final of this year's European Championship on June 11 at Wembley Stadium in London.

In addition, England has to play a game in front of empty ranks, another ghost game was suspended for two years.

In the run-up to the European Championship final between England and Italy, fans had overrun barriers and penetrated into the stadium.

There had also been fights.

The FA called the scenes "completely unacceptable" and "embarrassing" for the Three Lions.

The Uefa sanctioned the association for "poor order and discipline in and around the stadium, the invasion of the venue as well as the throwing of objects and disrupting the national anthems."

Italy defeated England on penalties in the final and became European champions.
