"Goodbye Germany" emigrant Justin Betz let his hair grow out for two and a half years.

Now the time has come for him to cut them off.

A wig is to be made from his long mane, which will then be donated to children with cancer.

Sarasota, Florida – Nicole and Oliver Betz have been living in the USA with their children Ashley and Justin since 2014 (Goodbye Germany: All information about the docu-soap, emigrants and scandals).

The "Goodbye Germany" emigrant regularly keeps her fans up to date on her Instagram.

So her son decided a few days ago to cut off his hair and have it made into a wig for children with cancer.

A few years ago, 20-year-old Justin decided to let his hair grow out.

After two and a half years, his hair is finally long enough to donate.

Without thinking twice about the next step, the hairdresser cuts off his braid and proudly holds it up to the camera.

Mama Nicole is of course enthusiastic about her son's campaign.

She wrote on Instagram: "Now it's time for Justin to donate his hair to children with cancer.

I'm so proud of him".

The Instagram account of "Goodbye Germany" reposts the video in an Instagram story and enthuses: "What a great action".

A strong message to his followers and the "Goodbye Germany" fans.

Hopefully his act will encourage others to donate their hair to such organizations and bring great joy to the children.

The Lerma family had to cope with a big shock a few days ago.

11-year-old Cheyenne had been going to school in Florida for three weeks when two gunmen suddenly entered the campus.

The daughter of the "Goodbye Germany" family had to barricade herself in a bunker with her classmates.
