Four Hapoel Haifa fans were arrested on suspicion of stealing Maccabi Haifa fan equipment Israel today

The police arrested the fans in Nabvi on the suspicion that about two weeks ago they broke into the warehouse of the city rival's fans, stole flags and burned them


The police announced today (Monday) that in the last two days they arrested four Hapoel Haifa fans at Ben Gurion Airport on suspicion of stealing equipment from the Maccabi Haifa fans warehouse in Sami Ofer and vandalizing it

On September 20, 2022, a video was published on social media in which unknown persons burned flags and much equipment belonging to Maccabi Haifa fans that had been stolen a few days earlier from the fans' warehouse.

In the meantime, Haifa police station investigators began intensive investigative operations.

With the progress of the investigation, the police arrested in the last two days in Israel 4 suspects of committing the acts, residents of Hosan, Kiryat Yam, Haifa and Nesher (23,24,28,29).

This morning the police asked the Haifa Magistrate's Court to remove the suspects from the football fields and the court ordered the removal of 3 of the suspects for 60 days, while in the case of the fourth suspect the decision of the Haifa Magistrate's Court to remove him from the football fields for a year starting from 1.3.22 stands.

The Israel Police stated: "The Israel Police takes crimes of this type very seriously and will continue to act with all the tools at its disposal to bring to justice those who commit crimes related to sports, and this while harming public security."
