Last night, several drivers from the Freising district decided to drive with alcohol in their blood.

The result: several traffic accidents.

On

the evening of yesterday, Wednesday, at around 6:15

p.m., a 46-year-old woman was driving

her car on

state road 2054 near Zolling .

At the intersection with Moosburger Strasse, she left the roadway to the right and collided head-on with a traffic sign “pay attention to the right of way”.

The woman drove on towards Haag without stopping.

She then turned right in the direction of Anglberger Weiher and, just before the bridge over the works canal, turned right onto the footpath and cycle path.

This was blocked after about 10m with a barrier.

She tried to avoid this barrier and landed in a one meter deep drainage ditch.

Zolling: The farmer informed the police

A farmer wanted to help the woman with his tractor, but noticed a strong smell of alcohol and called the police.

The arriving patrols from the Freising police station also determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, and a breath alcohol test revealed a value of well over 2.5 per mille.

A blood test was ordered and the driver's license secured.

In addition to leaving the scene of an accident without permission, she is also reported as a danger to road traffic.

Property damage was incurred in the amount of 2,500 euros.

The driver was not injured in the accident.

Kranzberg:

Yesterday around 8 p.m.

, a

21-year-old from Allershausen was

driving his VW car

towards Freising

.

In front of him drove an Audi car driven by a 31-year-old.

He was about to make a proper left turn at Eberspoint when the VW driver tried to overtake.

The two vehicles collided and both left the roadway.

A power distribution box installed there was completely destroyed.

Both drivers suffered

minor injuries and were taken to Freising Hospital by the ambulance service

.

The 21-year-old overtaker was found to be under the influence of alcohol during a breath alcohol test.

A blood test was ordered and the public prosecutor's office was consulted.

This ordered the securing of the driver's license because a blood test value of less than one and more than 0.3 per mille is to be expected and thus a relative unfitness to drive with failure symptoms was affirmed.

The accident caused damage to property amounting to 45,000 euros.
