Our trains are arriving a little more on time today than they were five years ago: in the ranking of European countries, France's position has progressed slightly, with TGVs which are satisfactory.
For the year 2019, France is in the last third of the countries showing the greatest number of delays, while in 2014, it was in the last quarter.
Out of 16 countries studied, France does better than Norway, Belgium or even Great Britain;
it occupies eleventh place, ahead of Poland or Sweden.
In this new European ranking, Switzerland, true to its reputation, wins the Palme d'Or by running its rail traffic with, as it should be, watchmaking precision.
