The committee also demanded that the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Transportation report to the Finance Committee from March 2023 each year on technological development for continuous monitoring, comparative research from countries around the world to collect congestion tax, and other data, to examine whether there are more advanced means of more efficient and accurate collection. The ministries were also required to report on the investment in the development of public transportation in Israel, the frequency and establishment of transportation infrastructure and additional data regarding transportation in Israel from the beginning of the law and annually, in order to monitor the development of public transportation.
