Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Monday) with the chairman of Torah Judaism, MK Moshe Gafni.

Walla!

It was learned that during the meeting Gafni criticized Netanyahu: "You are not making enough efforts against Bennett and Saar, they have a closed government, you need to know that," said the chairman of Torah Judaism. The

meeting took place at the Prime Minister's Office His fear that Gafni will cooperate from the outside with the Bennett-Lapid government. Gafni was supposed to meet today with the chairman of Yesh Atid, Yair Lapid, but the meeting was postponed due to internal ultra-Orthodox pressure.

Netanyahu wondered to Gafni about his need to object to the firm support of the government he headed, and Gafni ruled out the possibility of such avoidance.

He told Netanyahu that he was going with the Likud, even at the cost of opposition.

Political sources said that Netanyahu had "begun to internalize," as they put it, that he would have to vacate his position as prime minister in favor of another right-wing candidate for a year, in order to form a right-wing government, with the aim of thwarting Bennett and Lapid.

New Tikva chairman Gideon Saar did not rule out this possibility, and right-wing chairman Naftali Bennett supported it as a first priority.
