(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 19 - Prince William decided to separate his house from Harry's after a very heated phone call in which the two brothers talked about Meghan and her accusations of being bullied by members of the Buckingham Palace staff in 2018. This is the thesis supported in a new book dedicated to the feud between British royals, 'Battle of the Brothers', of which the conservative newspaper Times has published some excerpts.

The author, Robert Lacey, writes that William was under the impression that Meghan was "hostile" to the royal system and planned to leave the monarchy from the beginning to return to the United States. The former actress, still reads in the book that cites unspecified sources from the staff of Kensington Palace, "played the part of the victim, but was arrogant and rude to the court staff, in line with Hollywood habits". A way of doing it, it is argued, that he has probably passed on to Harry, more than once pinched to "scream" at his assistants.

The thesis of a capricious and rude Meghan diva, vaguely sexist disdain, is not entirely new and has already been strongly denied by the Dukes of Sussex. But the book adds some element, if possible, even more poisonous and destined to discuss real soap opera fans. Apparently William believed Meghan had a "plan" and was "jealous" that she was "taking his beloved brother away from him." The prince also allegedly confessed that his wife Kate had been "immediately distrustful" of the ex-actress. (HANDLE).
