Geiger WINS Ski Jumping World Cup: Eisenbichler Third

Ski jumper Karl Geiger won the home World Cup in Titisee-Neustadt.
The 28-year-old jumped 132 and 141 meters on Saturday and won ahead of Slovenian Anze Lanisek and Markus Eisenbichler.
The two German top jumpers presented themselves in strong form almost two weeks before the Olympic Winter Games.
Eisenbichler landed with his two attempts at 132.5 and 132 meters.
Titisee-Neustadt - With his victory, Geiger also conquered the yellow jersey of the leader in the overall World Cup from the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi.
The third best German was Stephan Leyhe in eighth.
Constantin Schmid (9th), Justin Lisso (11th), Severin Freund (17th), Richard Freitag (21st) and Philipp Raimund (27th) also scored World Cup points from the team of national coach Stephan Horngacher.
