As part of the constraints of the Corona crisis, many companies and organizations switched to remote work procedures, when the very popular joint work complexes had to lock their doors.
Since then, the trend of remote work has been assimilated in quite a few organizations and companies, even for a few days a week, and the possibility of working remotely has been extended beyond the boundaries of the home during closed periods.
One of the most fun and lesser-known alternatives to working remotely, is the Open Space complexes at nature reserve sites and national parks.
These are dedicated corners in a selection of national parks around the country, which allow for work and distance learning through arranged seating areas, Internet infrastructure, Wi-Fi as well as power points for charging computers and smartphones.

"Even though we have an amazing office in Givat Shaul, since the Corona we have been allowed to work remotely, and I fell in love with the idea of working from nature," says Yevgenia Yarzenkin, director of the high-tech operating company, which works from Ein Hemed National Park in the Jerusalem mountains.
"I have always loved Ein Hemed National Park, and I would come to it on Saturdays with family and friends. When I heard that an open space complex was opening there, I immediately adopted it, and also invited friends from work to join me.
"I especially like the idea of working in a less formal place, which combines both nature and a social gathering. I set there in the morning with friends from work, we start the day with a trip, then have a team meeting and continue to work individually on her laptop. For me it is A magical and refreshing combination of business and pleasure. "
Another person who works at Ein Hemed National Park is Ross Wood, a software developer at Syntech Media, who lives in Jerusalem.
"I start my work day with a short walk in the reserve, then sit at one of the desks in the area that has wireless internet, and start working on the computer. Since the Corona we started working from home, and adopted it even when it was possible to move to offices. Nature is also nicer than cafes because it is quieter. The work area in the national park is small and demarcated, there are two JNF tables and an internet.

Michael Klankowitz, who works as a programmer at Autodesk, works from the office only twice a week.
He lives in Ramat Gan, and when he heard that there was such a compound in the Tel Afek National Park, he adopted the place.
"It certainly turns out to know people who work for other companies. I bring food with me and sit down to work from nine in the morning until three, and occasionally take breaks from a walk among the trees.

When the start-up company Alignment Labs, founded by Yehuda Ne'eman, did not yet have an office, he and his partner worked from the work complexes in Tel Afek National Park and Ein Hemed.
"I live in Oranit, so I worked from Tel Afek, and my partner lives in Motza, so Ein Hemed is close to him. Sometimes I went to work with him from there, and sometimes the other way around. Although we rented offices in Oranit about six months ago, twice a week we still meet in Tel Afek or Ein Hemed.
Where will you find such complexes?
The Open Space Spaces of the Nature and Parks Authority operate in Migdal Tzedek National Park, Tel Megiddo National Park, Tel Arad National Park, Ein Afek Nature Reserve, Yarkon National Park - Tel Afek Complex, Ein Hemed National Park, Tel Beer Sheva National Park and Mamshit National Park.
There is plenty of free parking, and their use is free of charge beyond the entrance fee to the site, but on a space available basis.
You must register in advance to visit the site through a system for booking a visit to the website of the Nature and Parks Authority.
The operating hours of the complexes are in accordance with the regular operating hours of the sites.
