Germany: the Greens fly, overtaking the collapsing conservatives

(ANSA) - BERLIN, APRIL 20 - Having chosen the chancellor candidates, the German Greens surpass the conservatives of the Union for the first time and reach 28% of the votes, with an increase of 5 points due to the appointment of Annalena Baerbock.

Cdu and Csuinvece collapse to 21%, losing 7 points, immediately after choosing Armin Laschet.

This is what emerges from a Forsa poll, according to which Baerbock collects 32% (+6) of the preferences, Laschet 15 (-4) in a tie with the social democrat Olaf Scholz at 15% (-2).
