DAX companies are considering having their own workforce vaccinated by company doctors.
Something similar can be heard in the chemical industry, at the Baywa conglomerate or at the insurance chamber.
"We are preparing to offer our employees at all major locations in Germany the option of a corona vaccination," said Allianz.
Telekom announced that, if requested and with the support of the authorities, it could also use its "proven logistics" for the annual flu vaccinations for other vaccines.
"If more vaccine is expected to be available from April, we have to use all our capacities to get him in the arm," said Kai Beckmann, the president of the chemical employers' association BAVC.
There is anger in many companies and trade associations over the slow progress of the vaccination campaign.
Because the shutdown and the corona restrictions mean great economic damage.
The figures published on the federal vaccination dashboard show that just under 10.4 million vaccine doses had been delivered to Germany by Wednesday, but more than a third of them - 3.5 million doses - have not yet been vaccinated.
According to an analysis of the statistics portal "Our World in Data", Great Britain had made progress four times faster than Germany with 7.9 by Tuesday with 31.8 vaccine doses administered per 100 inhabitants.
