Germany qualified for the semi-finals of the Davis Cup tennis tournament after defeating Britain in the quarter-finals of the tournament in Turin, Italy.
According to Sky Sports, Germany qualified for the tournament after the German duo Kevin Kravet and Tim Poetz defeated British duo Joe Salisbury and Neil Skopsky over Britain 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The German team will meet next Saturday with the winner of the match between Sweden and Russia.
Germany has previously won the Davis Cup three times, most recently in 1993.
