After around five weeks of intensive talks, the coalition agreement between the SPD, the Greens and the Left is in Berlin.
"There is a political agreement on all open points in the coalition agreement for the formation of a new Berlin state government," wrote the governing mayor-designate Franziska Giffey (SPD) on Instagram on Sunday.
According to Giffey, the final editing work is now being carried out on the text.
Berlin - As announced, the coalition agreement will be presented on Monday (12 noon).
Then the department layout in the new Senate should also be determined and the question of which party gets how many senatorial posts should be answered.
The chairwoman of the SPD and former Federal Family Minister Giffey is to take over the executive chair in the Rotes Rathaus.
