Police forces, a helicopter crew and firefighters immediately went to look for the girl - mainly "in the forests of the local area of walls," as a police spokeswoman for Moosburg said when asked by FT.

Among the emergency services were members of the Sixthaselbach fire brigade, who moved out at 8:17 p.m.: “All areas and forests from walls to Zieglberg were searched and after a certain time expanded to Dürnseiboldsdorf,” it says on the Wehr's Facebook page.

To support the emergency services, reinforcements were requested at around 8.30 p.m. The rescue dog squadron of the integrated control center was alerted, which was supposed to search the extensive area together with the police mantrailers.
In addition, ten off-road vehicles were borrowed from a quad rental company from the region and manned by firefighters in order to be more mobile in the extensive forest area, as head of operations Rainer Irlbauer reported to the FT.
The THW was also involved in the nightly search with a drone and thermal imaging camera.
The missing person's cell phone can be located
By means of cell phone location, the police finally succeeded in the late evening to narrow down the region in which the girl was staying.
The problem: At Niederndorf, where the student was suspected, corn chopping was still taking place at that time.
“They had to be hired so as not to endanger the safety of the girl,” explained Irlbauer.
The 120 to 130 emergency services, many of them volunteers from the ranks of the fire brigade, the THW and the BRK, but also police officers and full-time emergency services of the BRK, spent six hours - with success: shortly before midnight, the girl was turned off Foot troops from the ranks of the fire brigade and THW, who had "fought" their way through the undergrowth, found in a deer enclosure in Riedlmühle.
12-year-old has run away before
The girl was "doing well", reported the police spokeswoman, and was finally brought to the facility "where she is housed" by the ambulance service.
The police currently know nothing about the background to the disappearance.
It is not the first time that the schoolgirl has disappeared: The girl was searched for as early as May when her parents reported her missing on a Monday at around 12 noon.
At that time, too, a large-scale search was carried out to look for her in walls and the adjacent forest areas - she was found "safe and sound" at around 5:20 pm.
