Global taxation: historic agreement targets 2023 for entry into force

The 15% minimum tax on multinationals and a fairer distribution of digital profits are supported by 136 countries.


The agreement on international taxation, which establishes a global minimum tax for the first time, is described as

“historic”

by many leaders.
