Gold prices in the local market decreased by four thousand Syrian pounds from the price recorded yesterday.
The Craft Society for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus stated in its bulletin issued today that a gram of 21 carat gold sold at 195,000 Syrian pounds and its purchase price was 19,500 Syrian pounds, while the 18-carat gram had a selling price of 167143 Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 166643 Syrian pounds.
The association confirmed that the craftsmen must abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens who wish to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and allocating phone numbers for complaints - 0991937718-2248005.
