Today, gold prices hit a three-week high, prompting all precious metals to gain, with the dollar and US Treasury yields falling.
Reuters reported that gold in spot transactions 2.5 percent to 1707.20 dollars an ounce.
US gold futures rose 0.9 percent to $1,717.60.
As for other precious metals, the price of silver in spot transactions jumped by one percent to $ 20.96 an ounce, the price of palladium rose to 4.2 percent, and platinum rose 1.2 percent to $ 912.85 an ounce.
