Gold prices in the local market rose by 5 thousand pounds per gram of 21 karat today, with the global price of an ounce rising by 1827 dollars.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Making Jewelery in Damascus today, a gram of 21 carat gold recorded a selling price of 200,000 Syrian pounds and a purchase price of 19,500 Syrian pounds, while a gram of 18 caliber reached a selling price of 171429 pounds and a purchase price of 170929 Syrian pounds.
The association asked craftsmen to abide by the price issued by it, calling on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay for it except according to the bulletin issued by the association and distributed phone numbers for complaints 2248005- and 0991937718.
