Google's 'online' advertising grows

In the case of Alphabet, the increase in advertising investment on the Internet after the end of restrictions due to the pandemic in much of the world has allowed Google's parent company to shoot its profits more than double.

Regarding sales, in the first half of its fiscal year, the Mountain View-based firm had a turnover of 117,194 million dollars, 47% more than in the first half of 2020.

The firm that owns the most used internet search engine in the world saw its turnover increase in all its segments, with the advertising business accounting for 81.5% of them.
