Since school children in Great Britain have been vaccinated against Covid-19, anti-vaccination campaigners have carried their protests to the school gates.

Just last week, a small group of people demonstrated outside a school in the town of Blaydon, near Newcastle, when children entered the school yard.

Opponents are trying to fuel fears among parents and children by falsely claiming that vaccines are under-researched and dangerous, reports the BBC.

In a letter posted on the school's website, the school's director, Jonathan Parkinson, said several students were "deeply upset by the way they were treated and the pictures they were shown".

“We want to emphasize that the role of the school is to host vaccination teams.

We have not commented on whether children should be vaccinated or not, as this is a family decision, ”said the headmaster.

"Our priority remains the well-being of our students, and we do our best to support those who are upset."

David Phillips, principal of the Chilwell School in Beeston in central England, told the PA news agency that his school had received "offensive messages and threats" from anti-vaccination agents, CNN reports.

The students were given leaflets with false information.

And posters had been put up accusing the school of "treating children like laboratory animals."

Politician Alex Burghart, who is responsible for education and training in Great Britain, said that the anti-vaccination protests in schools were completely unacceptable, as the "Times" reports.

"The level of intimidation of schools and teachers is abhorrent," he said.

In England, healthy children between the ages of 12 and 15 have been vaccinated since the end of September.

Each student was offered a single dose of the Biontech / Pfizer vaccine.

The children need the consent of their parents.

In Germany, too, corona deniers demonstrated in front of schools.

In Upper Bavaria, the authorities recently prohibited unauthorized school operations on a farm.

In Rosenheim around 50 children were taught by "test refusers".
