Veronica Ferres has twice played in a "crime scene" with the BR inspectors Udo Wachtveitl and Miroslav Nemec.

1993 and 1994. Now it's that time again: According to information from our newspaper, she plays one of the main roles in the new case from Munich.

"I'm very happy," says the actress.

It's been almost 30 years since Veronica Ferres made her first appearance in a "crime scene" with the investigator duo Udo Wachtveitl and Miroslav Nemec.

Back then, in 1993 (i.e. before her breakthrough as “super woman” in the film of the same name), she played one of the main roles in the episode “Alles Palermo”: the prostitute Maria Zell.

A year later she was cast again for "... and the music plays".

According to information from our newspaper, Ferres is back in front of the camera with the two BR commissioners for their new case entitled "Queens" - and is very happy.

"All good things come in threes!" says the 57-year-old.

"The reunion on the 'Tatort' set was as intimate and personal as family."

Film and television star Veronica Ferres and the two cult inspectors - of course they met again and again away from the Sunday crime thriller.

"In the meantime I've made a few films with Udo, most recently Daniel Harrich's 'Meister des Todes' 1 and 2," says Ferres.

"And I still know Miro from our time at the Residenztheater."

In "Tatort", which will be shot in and around Munich by the end of the month, directed by Rudi Gaul (screenplay: Robert Löhr), she is particularly pleased "about the challenge of developing a new role model".

She plays a "not entirely indubitable woman" who enriches herself by exploiting young girls.

Ferres reveals: "Sylvia is a cold business woman, snotty, self-confident, dazzling."

How did the renewed collaboration in the BR "crime scene" come about?

"Casterin Franziska Aigner suggested me, and then I got a call from director Rudi Gaul, who really impressed me with his professionalism and his clear vision," says Ferres.

During the introductory talk, he even quoted quotes from "Rossini", Helmut Dietl's 1997 hit with Ferres as Snow White.

"By then I was blown away," she laughs.

As already reported, in addition to the Munich resident, there is another star guest in the new Munich “crime scene”: Wolfgang Fierek.

He plays what he calls a "shady character" in the story, the president of the so-called Bavaria Association, who has used his position to commit sexual assaults.

So pretty disgusting.

Udo Wachtveitl is happy about the two colleagues who give his new case - it is the 93rd for the duo Leitmayr and Batic - a good pinch of prominence.

"I recognized Vroni immediately," he says when asked how he felt seeing Ferres again on the "Tatort" set after almost 30 years.

He doesn't even know who the killers were in the first episodes they shared.

Wachtveitl: "How does she do it?

I will ask her.

If she remembers me.”

Incidentally, the music for “Königinnen” comes from La-BrassBanda.

The Chiemgau band also has a small appearance in "Tatort" - great fun is guaranteed when the film is broadcast next year.
