And those who want to trace the island's glorious mining history, will visit the marble quarries site at Marathi, where the precious stone was quarried thousands of years ago.

One of the recommended experiences in Paros is to just go out and discover the island villages. A good start to the experience is offered by the colorful village of Naoussa, which has archeological remains, the ruins of a Venetian fortress and also a small and picturesque harbor. Those interested in high-altitude views will ascend to the village of Lefkes, located at the highest point on the island and offering panoramic views. Naxos is the largest and greenest island among the Cycladic islands. It stretches over 430 square kilometers, is characterized by a perfectly mountainous block and holds glorious historical stories.
