in March, 33 percent thought he was the more suitable candidate for Chancellor, and only 23 percent were in favor of Baerbock.
However, the trend is moving continuously towards Baerbock.
The preferences are almost evenly distributed among the Greens supporters: 41 percent are for Habeck, 40 percent for Baerbock.
For the 51-year-old Habeck, in addition to the sympathy values, it is mentioned that he has already gained government experience as Minister of Agriculture and Deputy Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein.
The 40-year-old Baerbock, however, is considered by some observers to be stronger in terms of content *.
