awards ceremony for the twelfth edition of
the Guido Carli Prize
will take place on Friday
7 May at 5.30 pm
,
scheduled in Rome in the Sala Sinopoli of the Auditorium Parco della Musica with
live streaming on the Ansa.it, Corriere.it and TgCom24.it as well as the Foundation's social channels.
"The Prize every year celebrates above all the value of memory and its importance in building the future - explains Romana Liuzzo, president of the Guido Carli Foundation - we do it by drawing on the moral and cultural legacy, on the ethical vocation of Guido Carli, very current and necessary to get out of the crisis ".
Even in difficult 2021, the
Guido Carli Award
will be a celebration of the value of memory and at the same time of Italian excellence. To receive the coveted recognition, exceptionally on the occasion of the twelfth edition, not only economists and entrepreneurs, but also personalities who in this historical moment have distinguished themselves for their social commitment and their skills. Characters from the world of art at 360 degrees, of culture, but also intellectuals who have left their mark with the distinctive features of their humanity and solidarity. The President of the Guido Carli Foundation, Romana Liuzzo, who will introduce the authorities, will bring her initial greeting present and among these the Mayor of Rome Virginia Raggi.
The award ceremony will be by the honorary president of the Foundation, Gianni Letta.
The award will go to twelve personalities chosen by the jury of the Award
. The president of the Guido Carli Foundation, Romana Liuzzo, granddaughter of the former governor of the Bank of Italy, asked to set up the '
National Renaissance Day'
on 18 September to be celebrated on 18 September exactly six months after 18 March, date in which for the first time the victims of Covid were remembered in Italy after a year of health emergency.
