Subject, serious, of society or game, inglorious, of political tactics?
The way in which the question of abortion manages once again to find its place in a parliamentary agenda, which is already jam-packed, indeed serves as an alibi for a desire to weaken macronia on the part of a handful of its former members.
Each time an extension of the use of abortion has been voted (extension of the period from 10 to 12 weeks, establishment of a
"offense of obstruction"
), it is the majority group which had brought the provision.
This time, it comes from a group - Ecology, Democracy, Solidarity (EDS) - made up with one exception of deputies elected under the LREM label but having broken with the Head of State thanks to whom they had been elected.
With this parliamentary “niche” as we designate these beaches reserved for the examination of a text presented by a group and not by the government, EDS's primary objective is therefore to sow discord among their former friends.
