The Attorney General is investigating AfD district chairman Florian Jäger for incitement to hatred.

He had commented on the current Corona situation on Facebook.

Fürstenfeldbruck – In a video on Facebook, AfD district chairman Florian Jäger compares the situation of people who do not get vaccinated against the corona virus with the persecution of Jews under Nazi rule.

That is why the public prosecutor's office is now investigating the former member of the Bundestag.

Suspicion of incitement: investigations against AfD district chairmen in Fürstenfeldbruck

There is a suspicion of incitement to hatred, explains chief public prosecutor Klaus Ruhland when asked by the daily newspaper.

Therefore, there had already been a house search at Jäger.

According to Ruhland, it was mainly electronic devices that were confiscated that could have been used in crimes.

The search is based on an investigation conducted by the central anti-Semitism commissioner of the Bavarian judiciary, who is based at the central office for combating extremism and terrorism (ZET) at the Munich public prosecutor's office.

Sedition is on the agenda of the AfD.

The house of the fascist and parliamentary group leader of the Thuringian AfD, Bernd Höcke, was also searched by the police.

The confiscated items are evaluated by forensic specialists from the criminal police.

Experience has shown that this could take a few weeks.

Because of the ongoing investigation, no further information can be given at the moment, explains public prosecutor Klaus Ruhland.

Florian Jäger himself did not want to comment on the allegations.

The AfD politician did not respond to a request from the Tagblatt.

Facebook video by AfD politician: “The unvaccinated are just as little to blame for the pandemic as Jews used to be”

In the almost seven-minute Facebook video from December 6th, the AfD politician complains about the Corona policy.

He accuses politicians such as the Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) of “popular anger” and draws a perfidious comparison: “Of course we know that the unvaccinated were just as little to blame for the pandemic as the Jews used to be to blame for the fact that the Reich was in an economically desolate state. "Politics were at an end then as they are now," continues Jäger.

Towards the end of the clip, he calls for “resistance” to the Corona policy, because according to him “the so-called pandemic” has “not yet been told to the end”.

The Corona reporting in the media compared Jäger with the propaganda of Joseph Goebbels, Markus Söder (CSU) with the SS commander Friedrich Engel.

The video now has over 58,000 views on Facebook and more than 3,500 likes.

(Status January 18, 2021) There are numerous dissenting voices in the more than 700 comments.

"Dear Mr. Jäger, what you are doing here is hate speech," writes one user.

"Inciters of the people, that's all you are," commented another.

"Right-wing extremists have always twisted history to position themselves...ne AfD?" Says another comment.

The AfD keeps hitting the headlines with its conspiracy ideology and resistance to the Corona crisis.

Most recently, a local politician is said to have forged a vaccination card.
