Haushamer wants to shoot a Tegernsee series

The "Herzogpark" series can currently be seen on a streaming service.

It was produced by filmmaker Felix von Poser from Hausham.

In the interview he talks about his future projects.

Hausham – Hausham is known as a mining and industrial town.

What is less well known is that the community has also produced greats in the creative industry: several of Hausham's sons and daughters are successful film and television professionals.

One of them is the producer Felix von Poser (39), managing director of Munich-based Amalia Film.

His series "Herzogpark" about the eponymous Munich posh district can currently be seen on the streaming service RTL +.

Herr von Poser, your series is currently running about Munich's posh Herzogpark.

As a Haushamer, why don't you produce a series about Hausham?

In principle, that is conceivable.

At the end of the day, it's people who make stories, and people are everywhere.

I currently have two or three projects about Lake Tegernsee in the pipeline.

On the one hand, the idea of ​​a boarding school on Lake Tegernsee, based on the Tegernsee Gymnasium with its magnificent building complete with inn, brewery and monastery.

On the other hand, we are talking about filming the Andreas Föhr crime novels, which are set in Tegernsee.

There is something contradictory about Tegernsee: on the one hand tradition, on the other hand it is a wealthy Munich suburb, so to speak.

I find that exciting.

As a producer, how much influence do you actually have on the script and cast of a series?

As a producer, you are involved in all major decisions.

You sit at the interface between creativity and profitability: Which creative decision is the right one to make the audience happy?

In the case of Herzogpark, the idea came from a producer, my colleague.

She has also brought stars like Heike Makatsch on board.

Generally speaking, half of the films stem from the producer's creative vision and the other half from a director's or screenwriter's idea.

Herzogpark also gets bad criticism.

Der Spiegel, for example, writes: "Bussi, kisses, yawn." Does that offend you?

Overall, the series is mostly positively reviewed.

It's often like this: the feuilletons rate series as bad that are very well received by the viewers.

Til Schweiger, for example, hasn't received a single good review for his films.

It was a great hit with the public.

But of course it doesn't leave me indifferent when the press puts its fingers right into the wounds.

Why can Herzogpark be seen on a streaming service and not on traditional television?

Herzogpark is also coming to linear television.

It can be seen on Vox later this year.

At RTL+, people with a specific interest can find something to watch at any time.

On the other hand, you have to serve as many viewers as possible at the same time in an 8:15 p.m. slot.

Interestingly, streaming services' audiences have grown without taking audiences away from television.

Streaming services have opened up a whole new group of viewers.

Her sister is the actress Stefanie von Poser, who is known from numerous TV series.

Director Marcus H. Rosenmüller and the Nockherberger Sahra-Wagenknecht double Rosetta Pedone also come from Hausham.

Why does this church produce so many film and television people?

Maybe when you come from an idyll you want to tell stories about the world.

The actor Ben Blaskovic and producer Matthias Rosenberger also come from the region.

However, my sister and Marcus Rosenmüller are partly to blame for my becoming a producer (laughs).

My sister sparked my interest in the industry and Rosenmüller encouraged me to make my first short film during my high school years.

He even lent me his camera for it.

And he always told me how great it was at film school.

You now live in Munich.

Do you come to Hausham sometimes?

Naturally.

My mother lives in Agatharied.

Especially during the pandemic I discovered the value of nature.

I really like being in the mountains, in winter and in summer.
