This Friday evening, a woman in her twenties was stabbed to death and her 23-year-old companion was seriously injured, the prosecution told AFP on Saturday.
The gendarmes had been called in the evening by residents of a suburban district of Saint-Orens (Haute-Garonne) where they found a bloodied man on the public highway.
The injured young man explained to them that he had been stabbed by someone who wanted to kill him, pointing to a nearby house - his home, according to La Dépêche -, in front of which the gendarmes found the lifeless body of his companion.
Committed vital prognosis
Still according to information from the regional daily, the young woman would have received several stab wounds.
The vital prognosis of his companion would, moreover, be engaged.
He was treated at the Rangueil hospital center.
A 27-year-old man, who knew the victims, was taken into custody during the night and "a murder investigation has been opened", said the prosecution, who also added that the person in custody had to being hospitalized due to a hand injury.
