When the final certificates are ceremoniously handed over at the secondary school in Weilheim, two tenth graders are not there - they have been excluded from the school management.
The reason: After the grades were announced last Friday, you had a beer near the school.
Weilheim
- “After six years of school, my son can now pick up his certificate from the secretariat.
I think that's completely excessive, ”says Wolfgang Mrazek, the father of one of the students concerned.
Father is stunned
After the announcement of the grades, his son went to the Dachsbräu in the morning with numerous school colleagues and drank a beer to celebrate the day, says Mrazek. Then they went to the small parking lot on the school premises with a beer in hand because there were other schoolmates standing there - and two were taken to the secretary's office by a teacher because they had bottles of beer with them. "There he and the other boy received a short address from the teacher and headmistress Sabine Kreutle with the announcement that they would be excluded from the awarding of certificates," said Mrazek. The letter about it arrived at the weekend.
In it, Kreutle writes that his son “stayed drunk on the school premises or consumed alcohol there”.
He also bellowed.
"None of this can be accepted," they say.
Two standards are measured for Mrazek.
When a group of students was noisy in the schoolyard, other students had beer, but his son did not.
“They were just sent away.
And he is now being punished because he practically had a closed beer with him outside the school premises, ”says Mrazek angrily.
The school management does not allow the students anything, “after a year of lockdown such measures over a beer.
Where do we actually live? ”Says Mrazek.
Headmistress sees herself in the law
Kreutle sees himself in the right.
“This parking lot is still school premises, and I don't tolerate alcohol there, regardless of whether the beer is open or not,” she says.
Because if something happens to a drunk student, you can be held liable.
Even after the end of the exams, some students behaved in such a way that the party that was actually planned for the high school students at the school playground was canceled.
"Girls came to me who apologized for some boys," says Kreutle.
The final coup on Wednesday worked great, there were no problems.
The exclusion of the students will not be withdrawn.
The work of Parents' Council Chairman Sybille Kampfrath, who had asked the school management “to leave the church in the village, did not help.
The punishment is just too harsh in my eyes. ”Now the classmates could“ not have the two students with them at the farewell ceremony because of this little thing ”.
