For a little over a month, television, radio and the press will broadcast information on this still poorly understood disease which causes approximately 73,000 deaths (twice as many as cancers!) and 165,000 hospitalizations each year in France.
A balance sheet which will undoubtedly increase in the future, since the number of new cases of heart failure has increased by 25% over the past four years, in particular due to the aging of the population.
In total, no less than 1.5 million people live with this pathology in France.
