Russia has indirectly admitted for the first time that it is suffering enormous military losses in the Ukraine war.

This emerges from a draft federal law that the Kremlin presented to the Duma on June 30.

As the news magazine

Newsweek

reports, it states that there is an increased need for the repair of weapons and military equipment in the framework of "a special military operation in the regions of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic and Ukraine".

Among other things, the bill provides for "the use of material assets from state reserves" and "the temporary activation of capacities and facilities for mobilization" as well as overtime in "individual organizations".
