As every year since 2006, the CEW Beauty Awards recognize the most innovative and creative beauty products launched over the past twelve months.
The approximately 1,000 beauty professionals who are members of the CEW (Cosmetic Executive Women) voted to elect the best cosmetics of 2021, divided into several categories.
In the area of anti-ageing skincare, five stood out from the general list.
Peptides and collagen
In the category of “best anti-aging serums” for the face, the big winner is the Smoothing Serum With Super Peptides Protini Powerpeptide from Drunk Elephant, the best-selling brand at Sephora in the United States which arrived in France this year.
This plumping and firming treatment contains eleven different kinds of peptides (amino acids that support the structure of the skin and prevent sagging skin).
It also helps to refine the skin texture with its 10% exfoliating lactic acid and restores radiance to the complexion thanks to its antioxidant ingredients.

In the “eye contour care” category, Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide24 Eye Contour Cream is the winner.
This primarily moisturizing cream also contains peptides combined with collagen, the other star ingredient in anti-aging formulas (an essential protein that ensures skin elasticity and suppleness).
This treatment minimizes the appearance of crow's feet as well as dark circles.

In the "moisturizing cream" category, the Firming Cream with Ultra-Repairing Collagen from the First Aid Beauty brand (sold at Sephora for a few years) won the title.
Its formula also combines the winning combo of collagen and peptides with niacinamide (a form of vitamin B3 known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.)
Accessories
Finally, in the “facial care accessories” category, two products tied for first place.
On one side is NuFACE's Fix Line Smoothing Device, a kind of pen whose tip causes gentle pulses of microcurrents on the skin that help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, lips and forehead.
