    The goal of the G20, explained Franceschini, is to sign a joint declaration by the G20 ministers and organizations dealing in various capacities with culture "which includes a series of commitments on many issues" and also "the stabilization of the G20 Culture as one of the preparatory meetings for the summit of heads of states and government. "Even in moments when everything divides and distances, a window of dialogue on culture can always remain open to countries" added the minister, explaining that culture is a formidable means of dialogue between peoples and noting that Italy can exercise undisputed leadership in this field.


    Together with the ministers of the member and invited countries, the leaders of the main international organizations active in the field meet in Rome, including: Unesco, the OECD, the Council of Europe, the Union for the Mediterranean, international organizations of the cultural sector such as Iccrom, Icom, Icomos, the protagonists of the fight against crimes against cultural heritage such as the United Nations agency for the fight against crime Unodc, Interpol and the customs organization Wco. For Italy, the Carabinieri of the Protection of Cultural Heritage, the Central Institute for Restoration and the School of Cultural Heritage and Activities will also intervene.
