Russian gymnasts put aside criticisms of the Israeli gymnast's victory and posted on their Instagram account "Mazal Tov" for the Olympic champion

A beautiful tribute.

The Russian gymnasts, the sisters Dina and Arina Avrina, who were the prominent rival of the gold medalist from the Tokyo Olympics Linoy Ashram, congratulated her today (Friday) in honor of her 23rd birthday.

The sisters, who hold a joint official Instagram account with over 607,000 followers, uploaded a joint photo with the Israeli, in which they added a "Mazal Tov" sticker, tagged the Olympic champion and added emojis of handshakes and kisses.

Ashram, who announced her retirement in early April, shared the gesture of the sisters, as she did to many who chose to give her a blessing.

As you may recall, after the Olympic Games in Tokyo, a series of statements came out from Russia, against Ashram's winning gold, including that of super coach Irania Wiener, ministers and other athletes in Russia, those who the gymnasts and especially Dina, tried to protect the Israeli.

The Abrina sisters have just decided to continue their campaign for the Paris Olympics, and also had to attend the European Championships in Tel Aviv next month, but Russia and Belarus have been banned from participating in international competitions due to the invasion of Ukraine.
