Date of last update: 2020-07-03 16:37The government issued a press release today (3rd) in response to rumors on the Internet that "the government will soon publish a gazette requiring civil servants to take an oath and compulsory waiver of BNO." A government spokesperson clarified that there was no such thing.
The government will make an oath proposal on civil servants next Friday to report the progress of the study to the Legislative Council’s Civil Service and Staff Committee of the Subsidiary Organization.
