There are mothers who are willing to commit because even if they are paid - there is no chance that they will find them in advanced pregnancy during the hot summer months, and it is understandable, right?

Even without being pregnant, dealing with the Israeli summer is not easy.

It's hard to get out of the air conditioner, the scorching sun and high humidity percentages make staying outside the house impossible, and sweating ... how much more is possible?

So it turns out that it is possible, and all the summer symptoms become much more complex and stressful when you add an advanced pregnancy to them.

So how can you relieve yourself during pregnancy when it is so hot outside?

We have therefore prepared an extremely important survival guide:

Drink water, and now drink more

The prevailing recommendation is to drink two liters of water a day during the summer, which is about 10 glasses of water, and you as a pregnant woman just can not get down from this amount.

The high humidity percentages cause you to sweat more, so you lose more fluids, which can cause dehydration and from there - to premature labor.

Not worth it, right?

Take a bottle of water with you everywhere and make sure to refill it again and again.

A "side effect" to note in this case: drinking a lot and also a fetus pressing on the bladder will lead you quite a bit to the toilet.

Accept this with understanding.

Wear only what is comfortable (hint: dress and slippers)

Here is a noticeable advantage of summer pregnancies over winter pregnancies: it is possible to wear a minimum of clothes that will be a maximum of comfortable.

While in winter you have to wear knitwear, coats and in general - pants (!), In summer you can just walk around in a wide dress made of thin fabric and flip-flops that will contain the expanding feet.

Take off your pants, take off your shoes.

It's time to dress the most lite.

It is permissible to give up the rings

The combination of summer and pregnancy can cause your fingers to swell, so it's okay to give up the rings during this period to avoid painful and unsuccessful attempts to remove them.

Be more careful about what you eat

Cheese, fish, meat - all of these and more can spoil the heat of summer much faster than usual, so you must be careful about everything you eat.

Check dates of things you have in the fridge, smell before you taste, and reduce eating out except to places you trust with your eyes closed.

The damage that can be done to you and the fetus from bacteria in food is not worth it.

Avoid sports outside when it is too hot to

be clear, it is not an excuse to avoid sports.

Only from training outside the house during hours that are too hot to impossible.

You can completely continue to exercise in a controlled manner in an air-conditioned studio or gym.

Be smart in the sun

One of the side effects of pregnancy in many women is the pigmentation, and unfortunately it appears mostly on the face.

To reduce the chance of suffering from pigmentation, you should walk around with a hat or at least apply a cream on the facial skin that will protect it from sun damage.

The Jama app was established with the aim of addressing mothers of babies from birth to age three, and centralizing for them content, activities, tips from experts and videos that will accompany them throughout this challenging period.

All the content in the app "grows" together with the baby and is precisely adapted to its developmental stages, so that the mothers receive only what is relevant to them and interests them at any given moment.

The Jama app is the place for mothers in Israel to meet and get to know other mothers around them, and create new and exciting friendships in the fascinating journey.
