Two people were seriously injured in a shooting incident at a bus traveling near the Western Wall.

Several people were injured tonight (Sunday) in a shooting incident at a bus on HaKotel Street in the Old City of Jerusalem, among them two are in serious condition.

The bus was traveling between the Gate of Ashutosh and David's Tomb when fire was opened towards the passengers and the MDA team arrived at the scene providing medical treatment to the wounded.

Following the incident, large roadblocks were deployed in the Silwan neighborhood adjacent to the Western Wall, and extensive police forces were present in the area.
