Last Wednesday,

Zvi Shissel

, the actor, creator, producer and director, passed away unexpectedly.

Shissel, who is responsible for some of the greatest cinematic works in Israeli culture, was part of the mythological coop gang.

His sudden death made us wonder what would have happened if the cheerful bunch had been alive in 2021 and documented the beautiful moments on their Instagram account.

From the Singing and Singing Festival to the tragic death of Mona Zilberstein - Walla!

Celebs decided to embark on a time travel and combine old and new.

One of the most talked about bands of that era (and one that completely stands the test of time, if we may note) was the high windows.

Her friends,

Josie Katz

,

Shmulik Krauss

and

Arik Einstein

started working together almost by mistake and lasted a relatively short time.

After the band disbanded, Katz joined the mythical coop gang.

Katz and Krauss were married at the time, and their relationship was violent and shaky.

Krauss used to beat his wife to murder, and in the early 1980s she took their joint children and left the country.

Let's be this couple

If you were wondering who

Noa Kirl

and

Margie were

in the 1980s, the answer is right here in the picture.

Daphne Armoni

, who was then a sought-after star who starred in movies and released hits non-stop, had a relationship with

Shalom Hanoch

.

Hanoch, who was then divorced from Lihi, is responsible for some of Armoni's greatest hits.

In an interview she previously gave to Walla!

Culture, told of falling in love with the great musician: "I fell in love peacefully a few years before I even knew him. I fell in love with his writing ability which was wonderful to me and made me understand that there are no lyrics to songs at all. ! ".

Do not get out of hand

The

late

Eric Einstein

dreamed of becoming an athlete in the military.

Unfortunately, the vision problems he faced sent him straight to the Nahal band, the most famous band in the country in those days, where he met

Uri Zohar

.

The band members were considered stars of the time and almost everyone who left it built a successful career. The military in the late 1950s, erupted like the star he was in. Einstein maintained close friendships with Zohar and the two wrote together and starred in the movie "Peeks."

The festival of those days is called the Singing and Choral Festival, a song contest that took place over two decades and provided a stage for some of the greatest singers and composers in the history of Israeli culture.

Einstein performed several times on the prestigious stage and was already there for the music world.

Armoni's big break came in the late 70's, when she performed with Arik and Shalom Hanoch and the three sang "Until Tomorrow".

Tragic end

Mona Zilberstein (Photo: Creative Commons, from the Rachel Michaeli Collection)

Mona Zilberstein

was a real glamor girl, one whose short life was full of parties and scandals.

Zilberstein began spending time with Tel Aviv bohemia when she was only 14 years old and was later welcomed with open arms to the coop gang.

She starred in the movie "Peeks" and at the same time discovered the hard drugs.

The addiction cut short her promising career and she flew to rehab in the United States.

Unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful and the beautiful actress was found dead at home in 1988 from a heroin overdose.

She was 39 at the time of her death.
