IMF: full confidence in general manager Georgieva

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 11 OCT - The board of the International Monetary Fund expresses full confidence in the general manager Kristalina Georgieva, in her leadership and in her ability to continue to carry out her duties.

The board explains that the information reported did not definitively prove that Georgieva played a role in the 'DoingBusiness' report when she was at the World Bank.

According to an internal investigation by the World Bank, Georgieva would have played a role in favoring China in the Doing Business 2018 report. (ANSA).
