According to the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance, Chapter 134 of the Laws of Hong Kong, the maximum penalty for trafficking in dangerous drugs is life imprisonment and a fine of 5 million yuan.

If any adult uses a teenager or a child to commit illegal drugs, the police also apply section 56A of the above-mentioned law to the court to apply for an additional sentence.
