The Syrian youth football team will meet with its UAE counterpart today at 4:15 in a friendly match in preparation for the West Asian Championship to be hosted by Iraq next month.
The team will enter a training camp in the United Arab Emirates, including two friendly matches with its Emirati counterpart, the first today and the second on the sixteenth of this month.
Our team conducted its first training session on the grounds of the “Dhiab Awana” stadium, with the participation of the eight expatriate players who joined the mission, respectively, and they are Elias Safar, Philip Melki, Zakar Al-Issa, Jean Mustafa, Judy Muhammad, Hozan Othman, Alexander Qumi and Ibrahim Khankan.
And the team’s delegation arrived last Monday to Dubai, without the players Hudhayfa Khalouf, Uday Hassoun, Muhammad Al-Asaad, Ali Hulu, Muhannad Fadel and Ammar Alama, whose “PCR” smear results before traveling from Damascus were positive.
