At least 36 people have died in landslides caused by monsoon rains in western India, where dozens more are missing, a local official said on Friday.
Three landslides occurred Thursday in the district of Raigad, in the state of Maharashtra in the center-west of the country, according to the official.
“At least 35 to 40 people are trapped.

The Navy and Air Force have joined forces to help thousands of people affected by flooding.
