Opponents and supporters of the project engaged in a heated exchange of blows - until ultimately the bridge to the Nazi era was built.

Since the engineer entrusted with the site analysis considers the construction of wind turbines in the forest to be economically and ecologically justifiable, the municipal council should now initiate the next step: in the form of an application to the district of Munich, the use of wind energy within the municipality to examine the concentration areas designated years ago in the "Hofoldinger and Höhenkirchner Forst" conservation area.
In connection with this, the district is to change the stipulations for the landscape protection area in order to enable the construction of wind turbines there.
But the CSU parliamentary group in particular had its problems with that.
CSU wants to wait for seismic investigations
The application could perhaps be made later, but not now, explained Leonhard Karl (CSU), referring to the outstanding results of seismic surveys on geothermal energy.
The CSU is "open to everything", but it needs a holistic concept.
This is what he and Walter Kratschmann (AFW) hope for from the studies carried out by university professor Herbert Palm and his students, who are working on an energy use plan on behalf of the community.

It's about a free resource that is always there. ”Dorothee Stoewahse (Greens) argued that the demand for electricity will continue to rise in the future despite all efforts to save.
Eberhard saw it that way too.

Infrasound denounced as a Nazi torture instrument
Roland Spingler (CSU) warned that a positive decision would not only result in an inspection order being sent to the district, but that the district should also change the stipulations for the construction of wind turbines in the landscape protection area. In his opinion, this threatens massive damage to the recreation area. "The risk increases massively that our heads will then be decided," added Mathias Mooz (CSU) - and seconds later lectured on the danger of infrasound caused by wind turbines for human health. He also stated that the Nazis used infrasound for torture in the past. He indirectly accused the proponents of wind power of “stealing years of life” from children through infrasound.
Eberhard indignantly described Mooz's contribution as “tough stuff”. From his explanations one could conclude that all people in northern Germany - given the amount of wind turbines there - would be tortured. Konwitschny promised that the infrasound exposure would also be carefully checked. In the end, the proponents of wind power prevailed: With 8: 5 votes it was decided to submit the corresponding application to the district.
