Innovation, presented 'Oscar' of Angi, awards 1st December

Countdown to the Angi Award (National Association of Young Innovators) – Innovation Oscar, the initiative created to pay homage to projects of excellence from the world of business and 'start-ups' ranging from science to health, from culture to tourism, passing through mobility, energy, environment, communication, smart city and much more: this morning, in Rome, the fifth edition of the initiative


Countdown to the Angi Award (National Association of Young Innovators) – Innovation Oscar, the initiative created to pay homage to projects of excellence from the world of business and 'start-ups' ranging from science to health, from culture to tourism, passing through mobility, energy, environment, communication, smart city and much more: this morning, in Rome, the fifth edition of the initiative was presented at the American Studies Centre, which will take place on 1 December, from 9 am, at Auditorium of the Ara Pacis museum, in via Di Ripetta, 190. The event benefits from the sponsorship of the European Parliament and the EU Commission, the European Year of Youth, the Agency for Digital Italy (Agid), the 'Italian Institute of Technology (Iit), of the National Research Council (Cnr),of the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (Enea), of the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (Ispra), as well as of the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Rome. 

The president of Angi Gabriele Ferrieri framed the spirit of the event as follows: "Our goal is to enhance the initiatives with the strongest impact on society. But not only that, supporting young people and their talent, in fact, is our mission and it is for this reason that we are honored to deliver an important recognition to all the most promising Italian entrepreneurial realities.It is of fundamental importance - added Ferrieri - to create a concrete dialogue between the public and the private sector, in order to enhance the potential of which we have in Italy". 

In the morning, the Innovation Leader Award was presented to Linda Raimondi, known as "The daughter of the stars", i.e. an aspiring astronaut, physics student, science communicator, TV presenter and among the top eight most influential young people under 30 in the world. Italy on aerospace according to Forbes.

The recognition, he said, constitutes "a new starting point for looking to the future with even greater optimism and above all with the will to continue to tell and disseminate the beauty and wonders of science, with the hope of being able to inspire, excite, or even just to intrigue the people who follow me", were Raimondi's words. 

Beyond today's preview, the 'key' appointment, as mentioned, will be held on 1 December, when the 30 most promising entrepreneurial realities in the country will be awarded, in the presence of institutions and investors.
