The extensive search in Florida for the fiancée of Gabi Patito, the blogger whose body was found in a national park in Wyoming, entered their sixth day today (Thursday).

Divers yesterday joined FBI officers and agents using boats and helicopters in an attempt to locate 23-year-old Brian Lundry in the crocodile-infested Carlton Reserve.

However, they have not yet been able to discover new clues in a fascinating mystery to the United States.

Authorities have not said why they are convinced that Laundre, who is wanted for questioning, is still staying at a reserve near his home in North Fort, more than a week after he told his family he was going for a walk alone there.

Local police said the young man's parents did not report his absence until September 14, three days after they last saw him.

The reserve, which is more than 97 square kilometers in size, has 128 km of Ural hiking trails, but mostly swampy areas.

The affair has received widespread coverage in the United States since 22-year-old Petito was reported missing on September 11.

Ten days later, her fiancée returned to his home in North Fort, without her, at the end of a beach-to-beach trip documented by the couple on social media.

Patito's body was found Sunday in a remote corner of Bridgerton-Teton National Forest in west Wyoming, less than 300 meters from where another pair of traveling bloggers documented on August 27 the couple's white transit vehicle parked on a muddy road.

Medical investigators in Teton County confirmed that the remains found in the park belonged to Petito and determined that she had been murdered, but the cause of her death has not yet been revealed.
